How do we hunt ?

We hunt maintly from comfortable
tree-stand over baits, from around 4 P.M. until dark. The average shooting distance (for
rifles) is between 40 and 70 yards. We also have special tree-stands for bow hunters,
where the shooting is between 15 and 25 yards. Most outfitters
give you a tree-stand and
that's it. With CanadAventure, your guide takes you each day to where the bears are the
most active. We carry weekly
thousands of pounds of meat, fish and molasses to attract our
bears; we constantly keep over 50 spots actively baited, and we will not take more than 8 hunters
per week.
